Terms & Conditions

Pricing
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and inclusive of 15% GST (Goods and Service Tax). To secure your booking we require your Credit Card details. Payment will not be processed until the day of your flight. You may send through your credit card details via email or please give us a call between 8.30am -5.00pm Monday-Sunday. 

Wanaka Helicopters reserves the right to change/alter our price or price list at any time and shall be effective from the date specified. 

Credit Card Payments
We accept Visa, Master Card and Debit Cards, but cannot take Amex. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations within:
48 hours of tour receive a 25% refund
7 days of tour receive a 50% refund
8 days or more receive a 100% refund

In the event of inclement weather and there is no alternative flight availability on alternative days  a full refund will be made at point of sale.

Refund
If for safety or any other reason Wanaka Helicopters cancels a trip a full refund will be made. If a trip needs to be shortened for any reason then the difference of any monies paid will be refunded to the client upon return.

Wanaka Helicopters is committed to putting your comfort and safety first. We strive to make every experience we provide an enjoyable and positive one. We understand the importance of flying smoothly and safely and the comfort and enjoyment this brings to our customers. 

Our licence with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) part 135 operators ensures we adhere to strict operating procedures for each helicopter we use. We are dedicated to ensuring excellence in machine maintenance, safety planning and recurrent pilot training to ensure all tasks are performed to an exceptional quality. 

Our pilots are highly skilled and trained to read weather conditions and understand our mountain environment. At Wanaka Helicopters we act on the side of caution and if weather is looking unsuitable or unpredictable and safety is an issue we will look to another option or reschedule your flight. The call to fly is up to the Pilot in Command and their specialist opinion is final in this matter. 

PRE-FLIGHT CHECKLIST:
Ensure you have emailed all passenger’s full names and weights to [email protected]
Phone us on 0800 46 36 26 the morning of your flight for a weather check
Arrive 10 mins prior to departure time
Make sure you have appropriate clothing and footwear for your flight (particularly snow/glacier landings)
