We are excited to announce that we are now offering aerial agricultural services to add to our broad service offering here at Wanaka Helicopters.

Since the beginning of Wanaka Helicopters in 1992, as a family-run business, our focus has always been on supporting and providing services for our local community. Our expanded agricultural offering is now about broadening this range and better supporting our rural clients, who have been so loyal to us over the years.

When we first spoke about expanding our offering to include full agricultural services we kept coming back to wanting to provide a transparent, accessible and efficient service for our rural clients.

With our varied fleet of machines, we are able to carefully select the best helicopter for the job, depending on our client’s specific needs. We are able to provide a cost-effective and efficient solution for farmers and commercial clients.

Adding the full Ag services to our business means that our clients can now have one contact who can cover all of their agricultural needs – making it more efficient at their end.

To head up the Ag team here at Wanaka Heli, Mike Prosser joins us as Chief Ag Pilot and Operations Manager. Mike joins the team with many years of flying experience, most of it being agricultural and commercial.  He has made the move south from Fairlie, where he ran his own agricultural spraying business for 22 years working with local farmers in the region.
