Recently arriving from the North Island, ZK-HAK is our newest Airbus EC130 and we couldn’t be happier to welcome her to Wānaka. It’s been some time since we last operated an EC130, and bringing one back into the fleet marks a special moment for our team and for the experiences we can now offer our guests.
Like our trusted B2 and B3 helicopters, the EC130 carries six passengers plus the pilot. Where HAK really stands apart is in the onboard experience.
Each passenger enjoys their own individual bucket seat, creating more personal space and a noticeably more refined cabin environment. It’s a setup that works beautifully for private charters, scenic flights, and wedding parties looking for something a little more special.
